• Always place in water before lighting  
• Use a wide, stable bowl or vessel  
• Keep water level below the wick  
• Trim wick to 5 mm before lighting  
• Never burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time  
• Keep away from drafts, children, and pets  
• For safety, stop use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains
